London commuters travelling during Sunday’s World Cup final were still able to follow Germany’s 1-0 win over Argentina thanks to live commentary and analysis of the match in Rio de Janeiro at Waterloo station.
Germany’s fourth World Cup triumph was relayed over the public address system at London’s busiest train station by sports presenter Scott Minto and former Germany international Steffen Freund.
